Even after all those unofficial glimpses, the production appears to be clamping down on official images, at least apart from a few awesome posters. With the announcement of the first glimpse that will be out on July 3, anticipation has just been mounting high.
Apart from Ranbir and Ravi, the film has a huge ensemble cast with Sai Pallavi playing Goddess Sita and Kannada superstar Yash playing Ravana. The film, produced at a level never done before, has been closely watched from an initial concept in its launching with a VFX heavy format movie but of a culturally significant story. Ranbir Kapoor, who completely changed his physique to play the role of Ram, post the celebration was seen at Mumbai airport with his wife Alia Bhatt and daughter Raha, supposedly heading abroad for a private summer vacation. The family is expected to return in time to start their respective movies, including Love and War, which will star both Ranbir and Alia, along with Vicky Kaushal and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
